flawlessly. It has NO tuner (clearly stated) but it will accept tuner input from another source, or even home video or other vhs tapes for
recording on the vhs tape player, also home videos from the included DVD player could be recorded on vhs...unbelievable bargain for all these features. It is a terrific back-up unit in case your main, many featured, higher quality player-recorder fails and has to be returned for service. I have "2" of them. Customer Rating: Summary: Cheap for a reason Comment: This does not come with a tuner so you cannot tape tv shows. Will be returning this ASAP.
